St Anne’s RC Primary School, is a Catholic School which unites a community of faith. This is the reason for our existence and the teachings of Jesus Christ are at the heart of everything we do.  We recognise that this this is clearly expressed through our Mission Statement and reflected in our relationships with each other at every level.

We celebrate our faith in a variety of ways; class based liturgies, as well as a whole-school assemblies; united with our school Parish community we celebrate both in our School and Church.

The programme for teaching Religious Education is based on “Come and See” and it is integrated into many other aspects of the curriculum.  We are enriched by the supportive community to which our children belong. Preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and the Eucharist usually takes place in Year 3 in partnership with St Anne’s Parish.

For our children of other faiths, we look for shared beliefs rather than differences and welcome the opportunity to grow closer to each other in our common search for God in our lives.
