St Anne’s A and Moston Lane boys and girls teams are now invited to represent North Mcr Schools in the Mcr Primary (A & B) Finals at the Aquatics Centre on Monday 5th March, 10-12pm. Well done children!

Basketball Results Jan 2018- Congratulations St Anne's on coming 1st. We go through to represent North Manchester Schools at the Mcr Primary Basketball Finals on Weds 14th Feb,

Lancashire V Northants Cricket- Monday 29th June

Today, 69 children from KS2 took part in a trip to the Emirates Ground at Old Trafford, to watch county cricket and take part in some sporting challenges. The weather was really warm and the ground was packed with over 100 schools in attendance.  We all had a really good time!


We learned about cricket and some skills needed to help you play the game; hand eye coordination, catching and throwing skills and team work!

The children slept well last night; no tears just lots of giggles! Today they have a busy day of; climbing, abseiling and an aerial challenge. Looks llike fun!

Wednesday 17th June

Year 6, certainly look to be having fun on their first day at Condover Hall. They have taken part in Dance Mania, Climbing followed with a well earned tea. This evening they are playing Giant Cluedo; Mr Clegg seems to be having fun! The children are all having a super time which is wonderful to see!







15th June

Congr atulations to our Cycling team, who took part in the first year of the British Cycling Primary Schools Mountain Bike Competition. Heats took place across Manchester, with the final being held at the National Cycling Centre on Friday 12th June. And the winners were - ST ANNE'S.  Well done children!

Trip for Years 3,4,5 and 6 to Lancashire County Cricket - Lance V Northants. 



On Friday 20th March, our Year 5 pupils visited the Sports Village to take part in an Athletics Festival arranged by Our Lady's High School. It gave them the opportunity to take part in some new sports like javelin!

4/2/15 - well done to all the children who represented St Anne's in todays swimming gala. Our teams came 5th and 7th out of 11 teams. Congratulations and well done especially to Christoper who came 1st in the boys breaststroke heat. Staff were extremely proud of you all and commented on your excellent behaviour and team spirit.


6/2/15- Manchester United Football Tournament - Mr Foster and Mr Fox took eight KS2 boys to represent St Anne's at a tournament held at Manchester United's training ground. The children performed really well and beat both teams that went on to win the tournament. Well done boys.


Pop Lacrosse- well done to our boys and girls who represented St Anne's at Whalley Range High School in a Pop Lacrosse competition on 11.2.15. This is a new sport for us, which Mrs Regan and Mr Foster have been teaching Year 6. The children played 4 matches and won 2.

St Anne's World Cup.

Congratulations to our Year 1/2 teams Australia and Nigeria, who are through to the final on Wednesday 16th July at 1.00pm. All the teams played with an excellent team spirit, cheered on by their class mates and supported by our Year 5 children who acted as lines people.
