Miss Krysia Majewska
Mrs Patty Ganley- Foundation Governor
I was delighted to be appointed to the Governing Body of St. Annes’ R.C Primary School in September 2016. I am a teacher by profession and have worked in two schools in the North Manchester area since 1988 until last Summer when I retired as Headteacher at Mount Carmel R.C. Primary school, just across the valley from St. Anne’s! I have twenty years experience as a Catholic Headteacher at Mount Carmel and before that at St. John Bosco’s R.C. Primary School. I hope to be able to use the skills and knowledge I have acquired during that time to support St. Anne’s. I am also a Governor at St. Matthew’s R.C. High School.
I am at present working as a part time consultant to Salford Diocese Education Department, as an advisor to schools in Religious Education and Catholic Leadership.
I am a parishioner of Mount Carmel, (where I sing in the choir and play the organ) and am married with two grown up children.
I am also a Eucharistic minister and take Holy Communion to the sick and elderly of the parish and am involved in Marriage preparation on behalf of Salford Diocese. I help to lead the Parents’ sessions of the Sacramental Programme at Mount Carmel.
My interests are performing and listening to music, reading and sewing.
I am thoroughly enjoying being involved in the future journey of this excellent, vibrant Catholic school in the heart of Crumpsall.
Miss Kelly MIller - Foundation Governor
I am Kelly Miller a Foundation Governor at St. Anne’s RCP. I work for the Diocese of Salford as a Caritas Social Worker and within this role I work with children and families to offer support, therapeutic services and group work within schools. My responsibilities as a Governor include supporting school with health and wellbeing. I am passionate about supporting children to achieve and thrive in their education and I believe that supporting school as a Governor will enable me to do this.
Mr Ross Clegg - Foundation Governor
My name is Ross Clegg. I am in my second year as a Foundation Governor at St Annes. I believe strongly that all children should have the opportunity to reach their full potential, whatever that may be, and that there should not be any barriers to learning at any stage in their life.
Currently, I am a secondary school History teacher at St Monica's R.C High School in Prestwich and I am the assistant SENCO there also. Before becoming a teacher I spent 7 years working at Oakwood Academy, a special educational needs high school in Salford. It is these roles that have shaped my outlook on education and the lives of young people.
I am a practising Catholic and I embrace the community spirit of St Anne's. I regularly attend school and parish events such as school discos, the successful FAST project and Christmas and summer fairs. I feel lucky to be part of the school and I look forward to sharing in its future.
