Mr Foster our Sports apprentice is now studying for his Level 3 Training in November. Our Sports leaders continue to support our younger children at lunchtimes ; leading multi-skill sessions .Our Year 4 children continue to attend Abraham Moss swimming pool on a Monday Afternoon, for their weekly swimming lessons; the plan is for the new Year 4 cohort to attend swimming from September.

Alongside the multi-skill sessions supported by the Sports Leaders, we run the following Extra-curricular activities (after School).

Boy’s football, Girls Football, Y2 Football, Athletics, Badminton


We continue to work closely with Paul Schofield from Our Lady’s High School, who along with his PE Team who organises a wide selection of Primary school sporting fixtures, which involve the local/ feeder Primary Schools.

Competitions entered to date (Spring 2 -2016) include:-

ü  Cross Country

ü  Y4/5 Girls football League

ü  Boys football League

ü  Sports hall Athletics

ü  Y5/6 Girls football League

ü  Y4/5 Swimming Gala @ Abraham Moss x 4 teams--we won 16/20 events and were therefore chosen to represent the North of the city in the below:-

-Y4/5 Citywide Swimming Final @ Manchester Aquatics x 2 teams.

ü  Boys Premier League Football Tournament @ Etihad Stadium

Other Sporting Agency Involvement MUFC coaching sessions (Y2-both classes Autumn Term), OLHS PE Dept. Manchester Communication Academy-Football

Mr Foster is currently looking at organising a Key Stage Two Sports Day in the Summer Term, to be held at the indoor athletics track, based at the Manchester Regional Arena, Sports city.
