EYFS
The percentage of pupils achieving a ‘good level of development’ in July 2019 was 64%. The core group of children who were at St. Anne’s for Nursery and Reception achieved 71%.
The national figure is 72%.
To achieve a 'good level of development' a child has to attain, at least, the expected standard at the end of Reception in 5 areas of learning - Personal, Social and Emotional development, Communication and Language, Physical Development, Literacy (reading and writing) and Mathematics (numbers and shape, space and measure).
Year 1 phonics screening test
The percentage of pupils who passed the phonics screening in June 2019 was 88%.
The national figure is 82%.
