Music
Ephesians 5:19
Addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart.’

God created us with the ability to sing, perform and make music. Music is an important part of worship and praise to God, so it only seems fitting that bible verses about music can be found throughout scripture. Performing our interpretations of scripture through song and theatre are a good way of spreading the word of the Lord. Our Music lessons allow our children to develop an appreciation of a variety of musical genres and styles. They will acquire a range of instrumental and vocal skills and learn the resilience to practise, perform and review.

“Music does bring people together. It allows us to experience the same emotions. People everywhere are the same in heart and spirit. No matter what language we speak, what colour we are, the form of our politics or the expression of our love and our faith, music proves: We are the same.” John Denver
