This afternoon, we were trasnported back in time, almost 100 years ago, to the day Howard Carter discovered the tomb of Pharaoh Tutankhamun! We had the chance to venture into the different sections of King Tut's tomb using torches (as it was very dark inside) to observe the images and artefacts found inside. It was amazing! We spent all afternoon excavating inside the tomb and recording any objects we found, what they may have been used for and why Tut may have wanted to take them to the afterlife with him.
