Year 3T have loved reading our favourite books and dressing up as our favourite book characters to celebrate World Book Day!

In maths, we have been learning about multiplication and divison. We started making arrays with different objects and sweets and once we were secure, we designed and made our own array city! We decided to put it on display in the corridor and it's been a real hit - everyone is using it to help…

 This week, we started out Stone Age history topic! We used our new archaeologist skills to carefully excavate some stone age artefacts! We then used our reasoning skills to work out what they might have been used for.

 As it was Roald Dahl day today, we have been recreating some of his famous characters and even inventing some of our own! We used water colours and a thick black outline to replicate Quinten Blake's signature style. We loved it and produced some fantastic pieces too!

On Monday, we were lucky enough to have Manchester City Football Club bring The Capital One trophy into school! Wow! We were all super excited, especially Mr Winstanley!

In literacy this week, we have been designing and making our own mythical beasts! Aren't they fantastic? We think so! We had so much fun creating our designs from plasticine and then we even acted out how our beast would move and sound! We are looking forward to writing our own myths next…

For our class 'Making £20 Grow' challenge we came up with the idea of running a carwash for parents and teachers! We had sooooooo much fun, got very wet and raised lots of money too!

We celebrated our Holy Communion with a picnic and dancing! We are very proud of each other and had fun celebrating together.

We had some very special visitors during our 'Preparation for Later Life' week! The fire brigade and the police both took time out of their very busy schedule to pay us a visit! They talked to us about their jobs and how they help people. They showed us their vehicles and all the cool…

Rocket World visited Key Stage 2 and we had the chance to visit China, Greece, India, Pakistan and Wales! We filled out our passports as we learnt about the different countries culture, language, location and lifestyle! It was amazing!
