In Year 6 we having been making bread, in RE, to help us understand the 'parable of yeast'. We found out that God's Kingdom is compared to yeast because without it bread wouldn't be the same and once its combined with with the other ingredients you can't extract it, just like we are all a part of God's Kingdom.

                  We had a great morning and we all took home a (large!!) bread roll. We all had them for tea that evening with soup, bacon and lots of other delicious fillings!!
