Wow! We were so lucky on Friday as we had a celebrity in our classroom: Nico Mirallegro! Nico is an actor, he started his career at 15 when he got the part of Newt in Hollyoaks. He has gone on to star in Upstairs Downstairs, Spike Island, My Mad Fat Diary, The Village, Common...just to name a few! We had lots of questions to ask him and he gave us lots of tips!
We spent the morning improvising a range of scenarios becoming different characters, we then focused on creating a sketch with the theme of 'anti-bullying'.
We will continue to work on our sketches in the hope Nico will return in 2 weeks time to see what we have done...just in time for 'Anti-Bullying' week!
Nico was really impressed by our confidence and willingness to give everything a go, he was extremely impressed!
