The year 6 children excelled themselves today!
To celebrate Black History Month and as part of our topic 'Slavery' we had a lady from a theatre company in to work on a drama performance. The children used their prior knowledge and learnt lots about the civil rights movement to depict important messages about equality.
I am extremely proud about the way they worked as a team and tried hard to project their voices and learn all their lines in one day! Well done year 6, you had lots of fun but most importantly told a very important story
