In preparation for our trip tomorrow, we had a visitor today called Kath. She works in Manchester Crown Court. Tomorrow, when we are at the court, we are going to wear stickers with our names on so she can learn our names too!

We started by looking at a picture of Manchester Crown Court and Kath told us about what would happen when we arrive. The first people we will meet will be security, they will ask us to walk through a metal detector (Just like ones at the airport). We must remember to be quiet, listen to all the important instructions and watch where we are going!

Next, we discussed the things we are and are not allowed to take into the court.
Anything that could be used as a weapon will be confiscated! We don't need to worry about anything like that! Miss Whitehead is allowed to take in her mobile phone but she needs to make sure it is on silent so that she does not disturb anyone. Kelsey E asked if Miss Whitehead could take her iPad into the court to take photos and Kath said yes! So, we will be able to put our photos onto a new blog.

Tomorrow, we are looking forward to seeing all the people who work inside the court and even dressing up as them!
