Have just had the privilege of working with year 6 for the day as a supply teacher in St. Anne's RC Primary School, Crumpsall.  What a wonderful experience for me! This class represents all that is outstanding in teaching and learning today. Children who are taking responsibility for their own learning, recognising the need to work hard, and at the same time enjoying  the experience! Who is responsible? ... great parenting, great teaching, and the ethos of a Catholic, (Universal) education in a school community which certainly demonstrates clearly that every child really does matter.
