We really enjoyed coming back to school and exploring all the changes to our new class and the new the classrooms up stairs! It all looks great and we are going to try hard to keep looking so shiny and new. 

Miss Whitehead spent the day getting to know us and we got to know her too. We thought about all the changes that would happen to us over the next year in our work and bodies. So we decided to measure each other so we could see at the end of the year how much we had grown. Next, we wrote down our feelings at the beginning of the year and our aims that we hope to meet in year 4. 

 

We also worked together to write a new lunchtime prayer that we will say together everyday, thanking God for the food we receive and those who made it for us. We also ask for people to help those who are going hungry around the world. 

We finished the day by researching and learning about Europe before beginning our first geography topic of year 4 next week. We used an atlas to find out which countries make up Europe. 

We are really looking forward to our first swimming lesson next Monday. Miss Whitehead thinks we will love it!!
