We loved our science lesson this week! We had some owl pellets, which are pellets of regurgitated food which owls can't digest. We carefully broke them up using sticks and discovered lots of different tiny bones inside them. We washed the bones and then tried to identify which animals they had come from. We discovered that owls diets consist of lots of small mammals like field mice.
