Last week was world relgion week in our school. We learned about the six main world religions.

We completed our floorbooks using the information that we researched in school and at home.
In Year 1L we have children who come from many faiths including, Christians, Muslims and Sikh.
Simran helped explain about Sikhism and some of the sikh objects that we have in school. She even showed us the bangle that she wears!
Ariana, Lareeb and Arian helped explain some of the Islam objects including the prayer mat and the Qur'an.
We also did some demonstations of different meditation movements. Some of the pictures are above.
We were really enthuastic about learning about other religions in the world and we painted a world with the 6 symbols on it to symbolise the different religions in the world.
