Science Week.
A fun-filled and action packed space themed week had the children very excited. There was a real rocket in our playground, we made rockets, discovered space in a planetarium and even took on a school run to the international space station which included the children running 1000 metres over a week!
The children became authors of there very own information books about rockets and astronauts and this culminated in a fantastic 'Mad Science' evening. They found it hilarious that astronauts have to wear nappies in space and found what they have to eat unsual. It really engaged our class with how fantastic science is and they cant wait to discover more!
