Today, we have conducted a science experiment. We talked about what we thought might happen to the sweets once we added water to them. Some children thought they would break, some children said they would float and another child said they might even change colour. We arranged the sweets into different patterns and slowly poured water onto the paper plates. Very slowly, the colour started to run off the sweets and then swirled into the water. 'We have made a rainbow!' the children said.
